N.S.S. unit barmana is functioning under the chairmen ship of sh. Kuldeep dogra ji principal G.S.S.S. Barmana .This unit has organized various activities regarding the awareness of personal hygiene , environment and social evils, clean india mission through rallies,street play throughout the year . This unit has performed the activities like making beds for flower plants , herbal garden . N.S.S. vatica makes this school very beautiful charming .Debate , declamation , quiz competition and other cultural activities also being performed by this unit . Plantation programme has been launched with the collaboration of H.P. forest depatt. One special camp i.e.w.e.f. 20-12-2014 to 26-12-2014 & one day camp was organized on dated 12-02 2015 . 98 N.S.S. volunteers participated in it. Volunteers were motivated for the protection of plants.
